This is the complete inventory. By default, stackaible.com stores exactly one value in your browser: your cookie choice. Everything else is opt-in, and every page works whether you allow it or not.
The inventory
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime | When |
|---|---|---|---|---|
stackaible-consent-v1 | This site (localStorage) | Remembers your allow/decline choice so we don't re-ask on every page. Never leaves your browser. | Until you clear it | Always — strictly necessary |
_ga, _ga_FZSDKNG15N | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors so we can see which pages get read. Before you allow, analytics runs in cookieless mode — aggregate pings, no cookie, no persistent identifier. | Up to 2 years | Only after "allow" |
convertkit_history | Kit (form script on /newsletter) | Kit's form-behavior history for its signup forms. | 21 days | Only after "allow embeds" |
ck_subscriber_id | Kit (form script on /newsletter) | Recognizes you as an existing subscriber when you arrive from a Kit email. | Persistent | Only after "allow embeds" |
| Orbital Drop embed | skydive-orbital-drop.pages.dev + its map imagery providers | Delivers the game and streams Earth imagery inside the iframe on /drop, under those providers' own policies. | Per their policies | After "allow embeds", or when you click "load the drop" |
What happens if you decline
Everything keeps working. The newsletter form still submits — it posts straight to Kit without the script, and Kit confirms on its own page instead of inline. The game loads the moment you click "load the drop"; declining just stops it from loading on its own. Analytics drops to cookieless mode: Google still receives anonymous, aggregate page counts, but sets no cookie and builds no profile. Search, tools, guides, comparisons: all local, no cookies involved.
Change your mind
— the same banner you saw on first visit, available any time from the footer of every page. Withdrawing is one click, same as allowing was. You can also wipe the stored choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "decline" automatically and skip the banner.
